What We Do
We conduct independent laboratory testing on thousands of food products to detect contaminants that manufacturers don't disclose: heavy metals, pesticides, PFAS, microplastics, bisphenols, and more.
Our comprehensive database and mobile app make this information accessible to everyone. We've already tested over 5,000 products and tracked more than 2,000 contaminants across 400K+ products in our database.
VeriFoods is not a brand-sponsored review platform or a calorie counter. We provide nutrition data and barcode scanning, but our rankings are based on contaminant testing from independent labs, not government nutrition labels. We purchase products ourselves and are not funded or influenced by any food company.

No. VeriFoods is 100% independent. We accept zero funding from food brands, retailers, or industry groups. We purchase all products ourselves from retail stores and fund our own lab testing through premium subscriptions and donations.
